Information we process

Nomad Coffee processes account identifiers such as your email address, display name, authentication provider, and user ID. If you contribute, we store your café submissions, ratings, reviews, reports, and check-in state.

Location access is optional and used to show nearby cafés. Your most recent location is stored locally on your device. Google Maps may process map requests and location context under Google’s privacy terms.

How information is used

We use this information to operate accounts, display community contributions, calculate café ratings, prevent abuse, respond to reports, and maintain the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

Service providers

Firebase provides authentication, database, and file-storage services. Google Maps provides maps and place information. Apple and Google process information when you use their sign-in services.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete Account. Reviews, reports, check-in records, profile data, and user files are removed. Shared café location records may remain after being detached from your identity.

Your choices

You can browse without a permanent account, decline location access, update your display name, block users, report content, or delete your account. Device permissions can also be changed in iOS or Android Settings.
